Ligue de l’enseignement de la Loire
Founded in 1866, La Ligue de l’enseignement is a major popular education movement that partners with community organisations, public schools and local stakeholders. Present throughout France via its network of departmental federations, it has developed a project and skills to serve associations, schools, local authorities and all their partners.
The Loire departmental federation promotes local life, develops solidarity and contributes to the formation of free, equal and responsible citizens in a secular society.
Their Environmental Education and Ecological Transition department offers a wide range of skills and projects: activities with school classes or after-school groups, adult education, coordination and facilitation of educational programmes, creation of teaching resources available free of charge at national and European level, participation in public events.
